Lucy founded The Villages Artisan Guild to celebrate makers living and working in The Villages. In the studio/club she throws and hand-builds stoneware vessels, tableware, and sculptural forms — each piece glazed and fired in small batches. Her work anchors the shop’s pottery collection while the marketplace welcomes fellow artists on consignment. Lucy worked for 25+ years as a dentist, after retirement to the Villages, she continued her love of pottery and clay in the Creative Sculpture and Clay club in the Lake Okahumpka Recreation Center with the fellow villagers. Lucy would like to create a website that allows Villager artisans to sale their own original handmade creative piece to the public.
